A Reading? A Gym? A Reading at a Gym!
For our May reading, we decided to have the reading at Clay, our favorite gym just five doors down from Paragraph. We had some reservations. A reading at a gym? Will that be weird? And we wanted to have our usual post-reading celebration, which, because it includes wine and cheese, is best hosted at Paragraph. Will people be willing to walk a few doors down for the after party? But because Clay is not just any gym, but a gracious, accommodating, immaculately designed one, it wasn't weird at all. It was a delight.

I love readings at gyms!

Tom Hopkins and Emily Barton enjoy the lush descriptions of Harmon's work.

Janet Liff, the real estate broker responsible for Paragraph's space, maintains her perfect attendance record for Paragraph readings.
