March Member Reading
The following are pictures from our monthly member reading. Featured in the pictures are two writers, a memoirist and journalist named Mark Millhone and a fiction writer named Kate Hill Cantrill, as well as the attendees of the reading. The setting is KGB bar, which you might recognize by the signature red background. What these pictures do not show are how entertaining these two writers were and how happy they made those lucky enough to attend. Once again, we are blown away by what is being written in the writing space. All hail Mark Millhone and Kate Hill Cantrill!

This is Mark Millhone. He is very excited to read from his memoir, though he doesn't particulary take to the word memoir.

This attendee liked the reading very much, but he did not like having his picture taken very much.

Within minutes, Mark Millhone has the crowd guffawing with his telling of a cross-country trip with his father, and boyhood memories of his father's absence, particularly notable at the movie Star Wars.

Happy, happy attendee.

Kate Hill Cantrill delivers the second comic punch with her short story of a first date that goes from fat ankles (bad), to hackneyed conversation (worse) and then to tragic.
