April Member Reading
On April 24th, Paragraph welcomed members Courtney Zoffness and Roberta Lawrence for a reading at the the superlative KGB Bar. A great crowd and great fiction made for an excellent night.

Roberta Lawrence's writing appears in Bomb, Shoot, Musician, ASCAP in Action, Screen Magazine, and on Blue Note CDs. Currently, she is at work on her first novel about the under-the-radar world of studio musicians and jazz artists living in New York City in the 1970s. She heads up her own creative communications firm, Roberta Lawrence Media, specializing in public relations and marketing for small businesses and non-profits.

The crowd waved to Roberta's mother, who experienced the reading via video.

Courtney Zoffness’ writing has appeared in Washington Square, Saint Ann’s Review, Tampa Review, Redivider, the international Fish Prize Stories anthology, and the New York Metro. Her short fiction was twice nominated for Best New American Voices. Currently she lives in Brooklyn and teaches creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania, the College of New Jersey, and Yale University, where she’s a residential fellow in fiction.

Thanks to all who came out and made the reading such an excellent event.
