This regular Paragraph reading series features the writing of its members. Join us this month for some teenage point of view from acclaimed young adult writers Judy Goldschmidt and Micol Ostow. Free and open to the public.

Judy Goldschmidt is the author of The Secret Blog of Raisin Rodriguez, which was named the VOYA Top Shelf Fiction for Middle Grade Readers, as well as Raisin Rodriguez and the Big Time Smooch. Her next book, Will the Real Raisin Rodriguez Please Stand Up?, is forthcoming from Penguin Razorbill. While an editor at Alloy Entertainment, she created many hit books including The A-List, a New York Times bestselling series. Currently, Judy works as an editor for Penguin's Young Readers division.

Micol Ostow is the author of dozens of books for children, tweens, and teens. She has written or ghostwritten several media tie-in and series novels for Penguin, Scholastic, and Simon & Schuster. Her first original paperback, 30 Guys in 30 Days, was published by Simon Pulse in June 2005, and her novel, Students Across the Seven Seas: Westminster Abby, was a 2005 Booklist Top Ten Romance Books for Youth selection. Her first hardcover novel, Emily Goldberg Learns to Salsa, will be released by Penguin Razorbill in November. By day, Micol works an editor for Penguin's Young Readers division. She lives a caffeine-addled existence in New York City.
