Darin Strauss is the author of the international bestseller Chang and Eng, as well as The Real McCoy, a New York Times Notable Book and one of New York Public Library's "25 Books to Remember of 2002." His work has been translated into 14 languages. Strauss was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship for his fiction in 2006, and an "Outstanding Dozen" teaching award in 2005 by New York University where he teaches writing. Disney recently bought the rights to his novel Chang and Eng, which he is in the process of adapting for the screen with Gary Oldman. He lives in Brooklyn, New York.
