Paragraph is thrilled to host a reading with fiction writers Joshua Harmon and Thomas Hopkins at Clay, followed by a wine and cheese reception at Paragraph. Free and open to the public.
Joshua Harmon's first novel, Quinnehtukqut, will be published this summer by Starcherone Books. His fiction, nonfiction and poetry have appeared in many publications, including Agni, Antioch Review, Black Warrior Review , Denver Quarterly, Iowa Review, New England Review, Southern Review, and TriQuarterly. He has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts as well as the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. He lives in Poughkeepsie, New York, where he teaches at Vassar College.
Thomas Hopkins' short stories have been published or are forthcoming in The L Magazine, Sonora Review, failbetter.com, Opium Magazine, Web Conjunctions, Yankee Pot Roast, One Story, Quick Fiction, and Pindeldyboz, and in the anthology Homewrecker: An Adultery Reader. He has also written articles for Poets & Writers, and has been a fellow at both the Ucross Foundation and the Edward F. Albee Foundation.
