Will Lippincott is an agent at Lippincott Massie McQuilkin. He started out at the Johns Hopkins University Press, later moving to the Village Voice Literary Supplement and then The New Yorker, where he was head of book publishing, overseeing all publishing ad-sales and organizing publishing-related events. He was subsequently named publisher of The New Republic, where he spent three years before moving to the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton as publisher of the magazine strategy+business. Will returned to the book side of publishing in 2003 as a literary agent. Still immersed in the culture of Washington D.C. since his days at The New Republic, he focuses on politics, current events, narrative non-fiction and history. He sits on the boards of Media Matters for America, Words Without Borders, and BOMB Magazine, among other organizations.
Sally Wofford-Girand is the founder of Brick House Literary Agents. Her authors include novelists Kim Barnes (A Country Called Home, forthcoming from Knopf), Claire Davis (author of the award winning Winter Range), Kate Braestrup (Here If You Need Me, a New York Times bestseller and Barnes & Noble Discover Award-winner for non-fiction), Hodding Carter (Off the Deep End, a memoir forthcoming from Algonquin), Irish-American crime novelist, Erin Hart, popular novelist, Isabel Rose (A Member of the Tribe), Joyce Maynard (At Home in the World), Jenny Offill, novelist and children's book author (17 Things I'm Not Allowed To Do Anymore), and Paragraph's own Mark Millhone whose first book, The Blue Beckham Bomber will be published by Modern Times next year. She focuses on literary and popular fiction, memoir and other narrative non-fiction.
