Karmen Lizzul is an MFA in Creative Writing candidate at Vermont College of Fine Arts. Her first magazine job was with SPY, and she is currently the creative director at Family Circle magazine. Her fiction has been published in Mode magazine and the Unterburg Poetry Center's online literary journal "Podium". She is also the New York Literary Examiner at Examiner.com, and is currently completing her first novel.
John Fischer is a writer and marketing strategist. A graduate of Vassar College with a BFA in music composition, his writing has appeared in the New York Observer, PANK, and the Random House anthology "Twentysomething Essays by Twentysomething Writers". He spends his days consulting to companies like the Walt Disney Corporation and Harley Davidson, and has been interviewed about trends and culture by CNN/Money, ABC News, and Monocle Magazine.
