ABOUT US
Founded in 2005, Paragraph is a membership organization dedicated to providing a supportive community for writers of all genres.
Created by and for writers, our core mission at Paragraph is to provide a space where creativity can flourish. We are now a virtual space and community. We are proud of the many works that have gone on to be published, produced, or awarded in many different forms and mediums. Here is a brief list of many of the works conceived, written, or edited in our space, and the varied publications that our writers have written for.
Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciated participating in Pitch Wars. No other place gives new writers like me one minute of time with those heavy hitters in the publishing world. It was great feedback.
[Pitch Wars] was such a great experience! Thank you for organizing, facilitating and creating a community such as Paragraph.
“I love Paragraph. It’s helped me finish two plays before presentations and I have a one woman show commission coming up first week of May. All things being equal I would just be a member all the time! Looking forward to that day.”
“Paragraph has meant so much to me, and has been a true home for me as a writer. Thank you for creating it and maintaining it through all these ups and downs. It is a wonderful place where wonderful things have been created.”
“I’ve written over a dozen books and several screenplays at Paragraph, have forged several friendships there, and I don’t know what I would’ve done without your space this past decade-plus.”
“My work is as it is because of Paragraph. A space for writers - it changed my life.”
“Without getting maudlin, there has never been a single place on this earth where I have been more productive, so thank you.”
“Paragraph is a marvelous resource for the writing community.”
“Writing is a lonely activity, which makes having a sense of community extremely valuable.”
“Thank you for creating this incredible community- you’ve sustained me and so many other writers through these weird and dark times.”
