Patrick Ryan is the editor of One Story. He is the author of The Dream Life of Astronauts (named one the Best Books of the Year by the St. Louis Times-Dispatch, LitHub, Refinery 29, and Electric Literature and long-listed for The Story Prize) and Send Me (a finalist for The Center for Fiction’s First Novel Prize). He is also the author of three novels for young adults: Saints of Augustine, In Mike We Trust, and Gemini Bites. His fiction has appeared in The Best American Short Stories, Tin House, One Story, Crazyhorse, Catapult, The Iowa Review, Yale Review and elsewhere. His nonfiction has been published in Tales of Two Cities, Granta, and other anthologies.
Melissa Ragsly is an Associate Editor at A Public Space. Her work has appeared or forthcoming in Best American Nonrequired Reading 2017, Iowa Review, Split Lip, Joyland, Green Mountains Review, Epiphany, Cosmonauts Avenue, Hobart and other journals. Her work has been translated by Edizioni Black Coffee into Italian.
