Paragraph is a membership organization dedicated to providing an affordable and comfortable working environment for writers of all genres. We are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Tucked away on 14th Street, Paragraph occupies the top floor of a three-story building. (Please note: we are a walk-up with no elevator access.) The 3000 sq. ft. loft space is divided into two areas — a writing room and a kitchen/cafe area.

The writing room has 38 partitioned desks where writers work in a quiet, focused atmosphere. Workspaces provide privacy, with sight lines blocked from other writers. The couches in front of our (non-working) fireplace are a great place to take a break from work and catch up on reading.

The kitchen and cafe are separated from the writing space by a sound-proofed wall. The kitchen is furnished with cafe seating, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, and complimentary coffee and tea. Lockers are available to rent.

Members have access to free printing (paper not supplied) and high-speed wi-fi.
